Once you've submitted your Städkoll, you'll receive immediate feedback and can correct any issues before you move out. Keep in mind that if your first Städkoll isn’t approved, you'll need to redo it. If your Städkoll is approved or if you’ve purchased cleaning services from Vital Service, we won’t need to carry out an additional inspection. SGS checks the cleaning on the move-out day only in homes where neither Städkollen has been approved nor Vital Service has been used. If such an inspection is not approved, we will order a cleaning from a cleaning company.
If we have to order emergency cleaning, you as the tenant will be charged the full cost – and this is significantly more expensive than if you had arranged the cleaning yourself in advance. The reasons are:
- As a private individual, you can use the RUT tax deduction, which lowers the price – something we as a housing company cannot do.
- Cleaning companies charge extra for short notice.
- We charge an administrative fee of SEK 1,500 to cover the cost of ordering, coordinating, and handling the invoicing.
